Have an Awesome Autumn

Sadly, it was time to put away the Halloween decorations. So put them away I did. And Lo, and behold, I now had room to put up an Autumn display.

This season, I have decided to showcase: Fisher Price My Friend Jenny (1979), Goldie Wilson Bleuette (2018), and Junplanning Isul Vesselle (2011). To complete the scene, I have added a leaf and pumpkin stuffed cornucopia, my crocheted pumpkins, and two sweet, plush kitties.

Can you tell that Autumn is my favorite time of year?

Say Aloha to Aloalo Mini Pullip

I also opened up Little Pullip Aloalo from 2006. I bought her the same time I bought Isul Vesselle.

She is dressed for Hawaii.

Covered in flowers.

And ready to dance.

Here are all of my mini Pulip dolls: Rurouni  Kenshin, Aloalo, Princess Rosalind, and the March Hare.

And here is the whole Pullip family, finally reunited on a shelf.

Isul Vesselle

I decided yesterday that it was dolly opening day. I decided to unbox Isul Vesselle, a doll from the Groove/Jun Planning Pullip line.

He was released in 2011, and I bought him last year at a Tuesday Morning store.

He is decadently dressed in an earth tone suit with strong French influence. I can just imagine him in the court of Louis the 14th.

He even has a tiny cameo.

His shoes are huge on him. His feet are about Barbie size, but the shoes could probably almost fit an Ellowyne doll. It does make them easy to get on and off, but they may just fall off if I move him about.

His hat is kept on by a hair clip, so it is not very stable. But since he is for display, that isn't a big problem.

Happy Birthday, Lewis Carroll - Part 2

And now on to part 2 of my Alice post (a little late due to the bad cold I am experiencing).

First up are the Licca dolls in Alice in Wonderland related costumes. I have just a few.

 Licca as Alice.

Licca as Alice (in pants!).

Licca as the White Rabbit.

Licca as the Mad Hatter.

And Licca as Alice, again. Note: There are some great Licca Alice costumes I don't have, including Licca as the Red Queen.

Next up is Liv Doll Hayden as the White Rabbit. I adore the aesthetics of this doll and costume.

Mini Pullip as the March Hare.

And last, but not least, Little Mimi as Alice (from Korea).

What Alice in Wonderland themed dolls do you have?

Merry Christmas

I opened up my 10 Year Anniversary Little Pullip, Princess Rosalind. In her festive dress, she blends with the holiday decorations.

Here she is with Licca, for size comparison.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you.

Docolla Rurouni Kenshin

I received an Amazon gift card for my birthday, so I was able to pick out my own birthday present. I had already received a pile of books and CDs, so I purchased one of the dolls that has been sitting on my Amazon Wish List.

I chose the Rurouni Kenshin Docolla doll by Pullip. Himura Kenshin is the star of the manga/anime/movie francise, Rurouni Kenshin or Samurai X.

He is adorable, but doesn't come with his reverse blade sword. I will have to find him an appropriate weapon.

He is about the same size as Mini-Pullip and Petite Blythe.

The March Hare Joins Us

I was bored yesterday and finally unboxed the Mini-Pullip that I was saving for just such a day.

She is the March Hare. Getting her out of her packaging was quite an ordeal and I never want to do it again. Worst part was getting the plastic wrap off of her hair. It was taped too tight to cut without accidentally giving her a haircut, so I ended up sliding the taped part over her curls, one by one. Now her curls are frizzy and all over the place. Sigh.

Her face is so cute.

Here she is with a full size Pullip. Quite the difference in height.
