I've been reminded that June is wedding season. So in celebration of marriage, I present my bride dolls (and one groom doll).

I'm a big fan of Ginny. And the Ginny that I wanted as a little girl was the Sasson Ginny with roller skates, since I loved to roller skate.
Last week I found this Ginny at the local Goodwill for all of $2.00. So she came home with me and fulfilled my childhood wish.
The doll was released in 1981 while Vogue (and Ginny) were owned by Lesney. She has what is known to Ginny collectors as the skinny body. What is cool about this body is that her knees bend!
A side note: In 1981 I was 10 years old and spent a lot of time at the roller rink.
Inside the box was also a flier advertising outfits, furniture, etc.
Her hair is a bit matted after being in a box for 35 years.
I'm so happy I finally have her.
Is there a doll from your childhood that you either still really want or have finally gotten?
