G. I. Joe Hall of Fame: Stalker

It is Memorial Day Weekend. In honor of the weekend, and that all my doll shelves are up, I decided to take G.I. Joe Hall of Fame: Stalker out of his box.

Released in 1992, Stalker is a 12" version of the 1980s cartoon/comic/action figure of the same name.

Ooops, that's a bit blurry.

I love the simple way he is kept in place. I wish all doll companies would go back to this. Look, no tape and no plastic ties through his head.

With all his gear on, Army Ranger Stalker's uniform looks a bit busy. (And his holsters are huge).

I think I will remove the gun holster before I display him with the other Joes.

Kabuki Cutie

We've had a lot of rainy days this Spring. On one of those days I unboxed this La Dee Da doll: Tylie as Kabuki Cutie.

What the manufacturer did to hold her in the box was overwhelming.

Here she is out of the box with her little suitcase.

She has an umbrella in one bun and a flower in the other.

I love her multi-color braids.

I wasn't going to buy her at first, but I decided that her Japanese theme blends with my collection and my one La Dee Da doll was lonely and needed a friend.

She is so cute out of the box, so I am glad I got her.

Licca as Laala from Pripara

Pripara is a Japanese arcade game. The characters are school girls that join a singing idol contest. In 2014 it became a manga, anime, and a cartoon.

In 2014 a Pripara Licca doll was made. Licca is dressed as the main character, Laala.

She is in a bright Lolita type outfit.

Her pony tails need to be brushed out.

She comes with her own microphone.

And a LARGE bow on her head.

Made to Move Barbie Shows Off Her Moves

I have been looking forward to opening and playing with my Made to Move barbie for a while. I finally took the time today to do just that.

Here she is with out the plastic in front of her,

Isn't she lovely?

Now to practice some moves.

Namaste.

Jumping Jacks, part 1.

Jumping Jacks, part 2.

Push ups.

Hamstring stretch. Feel the burn.

She can sit nicely.

Now let's have a look under her clothing. She has a long waist, but does not have a waist joint. That makes some poses a little awkward.

She does have upper chest movement, but just a little. The joints at her elbows and knees are a little rough.

And there are some small imperfections in the plastic near and on the joints. She could have used a good sanding.

This Sparkle Girls outfit is cute, but waaaaay too small on her.

It does not pass the bend over test.

This Barbie dress looks stunning on her.
