It has been a busy late August and September.
I: celebrated my birthday and set up a birthday party display;
crocheted Star Wars characters, Yoda and a Stormtrooper, for my Nephews' 5th birthday presents;
have been substitute teaching since school is back in session; caught my first cold of the school year; and have started decorating for Halloween.
3 of the 18" dolls are ready for Trick or Treating.
Melody, the new girl on the block is a sparkly mermaid.
Julie is a black cat.
And Sadie is Wonder Woman.
I received four Annalee witches for my birthday.
I have named them: Magrat, Gytha,
Esme,
and Agnes. (After the witches in Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels.)
Thirstee Walker even has a costume for her first time Trick or Treating. Like Sadie, she is dressed as Wonder Woman.
Thirstee makes a good Wonder Woman!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteThese are cute costumes, April. I hope your cold doesn't last long.

Thanks. I got over it quick. I think it was a way of my body saying "thank goodness I already had the flu shot". Teenagers are going to pass everything on to me, no matter what.
DeleteYou have a pretty cool collection of Halloween props there April, and I adore your witches! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs,

This is just part of our Halloween decorations. LOL
DeleteDon't tell me you are another of those lucky ladies with a basement??? I wish we had them here in Australia, I don't even have a decent attic to store things, just a garage. :( I'd love to have more props, but hubby says we are already bursting at the seams. LOL!
DeleteNo basement, but we have a little bit of attic space above the garage that we store the seasonal decorations. I'd love some real storage space.
